Stay  &  Play: Are  you new to the community, or looking for a place to meet other  parents  with  pre-school  children?    Please join us for… Step 2 ~ a 6 week drop in, stay & play program  for  parents  and their children ages 1-4 yrs 10:00  -11:30  a.m.  Mondays, starting March 3rd at the  United  Church  (back room),  Curwen  Street, Cartwright includes snack, activities   &   rhymes, FREE. Rock Lake Strings Festival April 22, 2008 at the Cartwright United Church. All entries should be in by now BUT if they are not please  call  Cheryl  529-2375 by March 8th.

Mather  United  Church will   host   a   Lasagna Lunch  Sunday, April  13 from  11:30  to  1:00  at Mather Hall. Adults $8; 6- 12 $5; Preschool $3.

W.I. Convention – Wed. April 9 at Clearwater Memorial Hall. Registration 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. $15 - lunch included. Guest speaker Alvin Jacobs on Ughanda and Linda Matchellus on Global Warming. Everyone is welcome to attend.
 
The Cartwright Centennial Auditorium will host their 18th Annual Flea Market at the hall on Saturday, April 19, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Lunch is available.  For Table Rental: Please contact Tricia Livingstone 529-2606 or Shirley Mullin 529-2096.  Anyone wishing to donate articles to the hall may drop them off between 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 18.  All items are greatly appreciated!

BORDER ARTS GUILD TO  DISBAND? You  are invited to attend a meeting to discuss the future of the Guild  on  Tuesday, April 15th , 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the  Municipal  Office  in Crystal City. If the Guild is  important  to  you,  and you want to see it continue, then  please  attend  this meeting.

Mather  Steak  Fry  & Wunderbar  -  Saturday, April  26  at  Mather  Hall. Supper served 5 to 7 p.m. Beverage served 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.. Adults $12; Children $4. Rainbow Auction. Everyone  welcome!  Proceeds to Mather Rink.

Social  Evening  in honour  of  Justin  Cantlon and  Sara  Heller  will  be held  Saturday, April  26 from  9  p.m.  to  1  a.m.  at Cartwright Centennial Auditorium.
